Deep tissue massage  it is a form of soft tissue therapy that consists of restoring deep layers of muscle and connective tissue. With chronic tension or damaged tissue adhesion occur (bands of tissue which are painful, solid), they can exist both on the muscles, tendons and ligaments. Adhesion can block circulation and cause pain, cause limitation of motion, or inflammation.

Deep massage by slow relaxation, elongation, elimination of the adhesion and abnormal movement patterns, tolerates the pain and restores proper range of motion in an efficient and comfortable for the patient.

The most common type of massage requested to reduce stress and increase relaxation is Swedish Massage, in which the therapist uses oil or lotion with several basic strokes that are applied with light to medium pressure, depending on the client's preference. The therapist determines the sequence of strokes that will best work for each client according to their needs.
